As you should know, communication, openness, transparency and trust are part of our core values and as a company (including myself) we try to honour these every day. I am disappointed that I heard about your issues, for the first time, via Glassdoor, instead of coming to me directly. If you had, you would have realised that I did infact leave a note of support however due to a miscommunication it was never added to the card. I also contributed to your leaving gift. I was on holiday when you left which meant I missed your goodbye message. Speaking of it being a difficult time, as a company, we chose not to furlough anyone, and instead push forward with growth as well as do things like: - Expand our wellness programmes - Sent hampers full of food and drink to everyone (including you) during lockdown - Support everyone financially, mentally and emotionally during lockdown - Never pressure anyone to work in an environment that they didn't want to The fact that you decided to single out one person, after everything, is, as I said above, disappointing. If you had come to me first (which I implore all of our team to do, for any reason) all of this would have been quickly resolved without either of us feeling disappointed in the other.
