During exit processes, employees were reportedly required to liquidate company-issued assets and transfer the proceeds before their full and final (FNF) settlement could be completed, which felt unusual and stressful. There also appeared to be inconsistencies in workforce decisions, with some employees being let go while others were retained under circumstances that were not always clearly performance-driven, raising questions about fairness and transparency. Notably, even managers who demonstrated fairness and integrity were affected, which further added to the uncertainty around decision-making criteria. From an engineering perspective, strategic decisions often leaned heavily on AI-assisted tools such as Codex. While these tools can enhance productivity, relying on them without sufficient practical engineering validation sometimes led to decisions that did not fully align with robust system design principles. Overall, the experience highlighted concerns around process clarity, fairness, and engineering leadership. Prospective candidates may want to assess these aspects carefully before making a decision.
