Avantages

The people are the best part of this company. The cooperation between most folks is unparalled and results in a good working relationship between the people who get the job done.

Inconvénients

No career opportunities except for a chosen few, most folks are stuck in their jobs for life, there is no movement of field personnel to corporate and vice versa. Upper Management seems intent on lowering costs to the detriment of the people who do the work. Long hours and hard work mean nothing to senior management. Once you fall out of favor with some executive managers you fall out of the company. Pay raises are non-existent, the feeling from management is that you should be happy to have a job so take what we give you. Pressure from the parent company, Masco, to cover their losses makes life unbearable at times. Management will spend money on monitors and laptops but not their people.

Avantages

Some customers are cool but most prefer to not work with service partners

Inconvénients

Super corporate. They promise weeks of training but they don't train you in anything you need to know. You compete with other top build companies internally and not allowed to sell against them (ADO, Silverman, DI). You can't control your customers getting good service because of the corporate blocks. No sense of urgency. Emails, texts and calls go unanswered by almost everyone. Branches always run out of material needed for sales. Gutters are impossible to get yet. Everyone is micro managed
