Avantages
Sequoia was one of those last great small compannies that lost everything that made it great when it was absorbed into the abyss that is AmTrust. Underwriters and claims worked together and respected each other. Sequoia employees were valued, rewarded, groomed for leadership and encouraged to excel. It's sad to see great small companies like Sequoia disintegrate after acquisition. Customers still talk about how much they miss the professionalism, excellence and customer service Sequoia could provide.
Inconvénients
The market crash in 2008 and the aftermath was just too much for this small company to survive.
