Avantages
- Team is small but mighty. It's a great group of smart, dedicated, funny, kind people who have your back no matter what. This includes leadership and the CEO.
- Great product. I really believe we have the best product in edtech and are building the best product in AI education.
- Great members. It's fun to work for a company that people care a lot about and are loyal to.
- Lots of responsibility. You can own a ton of projects/initiatives and learn a lot.
- Good work culture. Lots of work but decent work/life balance, fun events, yearly offsites, etc.
- Interesting problem to work on / solve.
Inconvénients
- Same challenges as most startups: Growth is very up and down. In the midst of a big pivot which can be stressful. Too much work for too few people. Comp and benefits are meh.
- The founder (SG) isn't involved in the day to day, so don't join if you think you're going to get to work with him
- No 401k, very few perks except for spot gifts here and there
