Avantages

- Great Director - Central office - Competitive salaries - Beautiful offices

Inconvénients

I joined the company alongside the Founder, had a good experience with the current Director, too. Unfortunately, my time at Search Project was overshadowed by the inhouse HR representative. HR should be resolving issues, not starting and causing unnecessary drama. I, along with others, put many grievances forward due to the untoward behaviour towards myself and others. Unfortunately, I don't think that leadership understood the gravity of these concerns and how badly it impacted the working environment and team. As a result, toxicity breeds and you have to walk on egg shells. That said, if you can maintain strict work boundaries, Search Project is not a bad place to work at all. The Director sincerely wants everyone to be happy and to grow. I am certain that I would have been very happy for a long time if it weren't for a few people who made my experience uncomfortable. Perhaps changes have already been implemented!

Avantages

Office in nice area Century City

Inconvénients

This company is best suited for individuals who can tolerate inequality and power imbalances. Those who treat others poorly face no real consequences, which only deepens the toxic atmosphere. Unfortunately, this culture means that good, hardworking people rarely get the recognition they deserve. Those who do the bare minimum get recognition and appreciation. There are people in leadership titles who bully others with no consequences. It’s an exceptionally corporate environment where employees are treated like numbers rather than valued team members. If you don’t mind feeling like just another cog in the machine, this place may work for you but it’s not for those seeking respect, support, growth or safety in your role. Concerns are swept under the rug and ignored and leadership ignorantly thinks that team building will fix core issues. You'll never be happy in this environment if you're seeking to be heard, seen and valued. Aside from the culture issues, the business itself still feels very much as though it's in its infancy phase with the amount of changes constantly implemented. You'll need to be comfortable with change within your role and responsibilities regularly.
