Avantages
Cannot honestly dismiss the fact that you CAN actually learn some things from this company, mostly from other QA/Devs.
Inconvénients
If you still dismiss the title of the review, then at least beware of the contract and read it very thoroughly, because there are 2 major redflags. (Wont tell you which, find them yourselves). Also, beware the phrase: "its the same for everyone." Because i guarantee you, its not. Even though its a B2B contract, you have MANDATORY work from office days, which you do NOT want to miss. (Hint for one of the contract red flags). Expect that if you want to leave the company, the notice period is one of the longest ive ever seen, but if you are fired, you lose all access the minute the lay-off call ends. Overtime is expected, but not paid; my mistake...its payed in "Kudos" and lots of emoji's. EVERYTHING is urgent, although, 9 out of 10 times it is not. RCA is not to find out how to improve for better testing in the future, but to find out who to point at and who takes the blame. Raises are non-existent, because the CEO does not believe in raises, they are "nOt nOrMaL". Company says they will pay 50% of any course you undertake while hired, but in the end, they pay for nothing. QA's are expected to deliver under very tight deadlines, even though they sometimes juggle 2 or 3 projects at the same time, and if you tell them its not humanly possible, they shrug it off and expect you to work 25 hours in one day. Most of the upper management is toxic, and even those who tend not to be, still find a way of unconciously spreading the venom.
Summary:
Contract: a bad joke.
Overtime: of course.
Paid Overtime: of course not.
RCA: Root Cause Analysis? More like WTB: Who To Blame.
Raise: in your dreams maybe.
Promotion: stop it...youre only hurting yourself.
Toxicity: over 9000.
All in all, i wouldnt recommend this place, only if you are out of a job and this is your very LAST pick.
To describe my experience in one sentence: Abysmal, with colourful bursts of pain-sharing with other colleagues who feel the same way.
