      Avantages

      Great way to apply business and finance problems to the real world. The job is an interesting mix of non-profit, finance, accounting, and operations.

      Inconvénients

      The hours can be incredibly long. This is the type of job where you ultimately get what you put into it; so to get the best experience, you really need to devote a lot of time to it.

      Avantages

      Staff that cares about the society's mission and purpose. Friendly and collaborative co-workers. Management is easily accessible.

      Inconvénients

      Annual turnover means that policies and mandates are hard to implement long term. Society has a less than stellar public relations record.
