I would say it is a good company for young engineers but not for someone of older age - Avis employé Employé (anonyme) SLB

This company is heavily dependent on the oil price. If oil price will go down you will get fired. For engineers except petroleum ones there is a high probability that you will loose your engineering skills after working for a while at SLB. For example if you an EE or CS major and you will decide to change your employment the new employer tend to view negatively experience in oil business because they think it is not technological which if often not the case.
