Avantages
Started off well, that's about it
Inconvénients
When I first started working for SGS, it was a fantastic place to work. However, having 4 managing directors in under 18 months soon changed that. A supportive culture was replaced by poor management, and a blame culture. It got to the point where many teams on site adopted an “us versus them” mentality, especially against the management, and focussed solely on their work. good work was not rewarded, and mistakes were highlighted. Leaving staff were not replaced, only compounding the problem further. There was no HR presence on site and they adopted a very “hands-off” approach, which propagated an air of negativity, nervousness and fear of making a mistake. When I applied for other jobs with other companies, most of them were aware of the situation at the site, which makes the fact that it was not dealt with even worse.
