Avantages
Good team environment. Other Sales Consultants will help you out. Sales managers are involved in every deal and are encouraging. Each day is different. If you love meeting new people every, it's a good job for you. They give eight weeks of training to ensure that you are able to start well. Ongoing training take place as well. There is growth potential where if you sell 12+ cars a month consistently, you can get trained in finances to sell warranties and get kickbacks from banks for financing. You can make a extra 5k-10k a month at that point. All the sales managers are former sales consultant so leadership positions are available. The health plans are pretty good
Inconvénients
The base pay is nice but unless you are in the top 10% of sales people, don't expect to make more than 50k a year after taxes. 50-60 hours a week. Work every other weekend (get a weekday off if you work a Saturday). Very difficult to get any time off even if you are hitting your sales goals, unless it's for "mental health" reasons.
