Clear double standard: local transferees from China receive overtime pay, compensatory leave, and even a paid month-long vacation with flights, while international students get none of this. International students are treated as “translation machines,” not respected as professionals. Cliquish culture: transferees exclude students from gatherings and team bonding. Many transferees lack education or qualifications but still look down on students. Overall atmosphere is toxic, discriminatory, and mentally damaging — leaving this company required therapy to recover.
