Avantages
- Flexible hour(s) - Regular team building events - Cozy place - Friendly colleagues Nothing much to say about the pros, but one of the best perks of working here is the colleagues, most of them are super duper friendly
Inconvénients
[Software department only] (does not apply to other departments) - No proper software standards being practiced - When employee(s) request for software tools that can aid developers in software development, answers from management is always (1.No Budget, 2.Please prepare a proposal and justify why you need this tool, 3.Rovisys is a SI company we do not need that, and 4.Already request but US team don't approve) - Local team lacks knowledgeable developer/lead who truly understands how things work in terms of software development side. - Overused of AI during development, resulting application code needed to be 'fix' when other developers looked at it. - Lacks training opportunities for IT related certificates and courses such as Azure, AWS and GCP etc etc. - Lack of support from management side for most of the software related decision Long story short, if you are a fresh grad from IT background, there are better opportunities out there than here, nothing much you can learn from here unless you are interested in Industrial Automation and MES. Not much growth opportunity for software side as well, mediocre salary increment for tedious and complex work. As for the team, the local team needed a revamp, instead of mass hiring fresh grads to fill in the roles, they should spend some budget getting an experienced developer to lead the project (like the ones they had in singapore team).
