Avantages

It's nice to have this kind of company in Buffalo, considering the lack of creative jobs in the region. Great for a young person, right out of college. A pretty decent starting point for a career in publishing, design, editorial, etc. For the most part it's been a fairly positive, casual atmosphere in the Buffalo office. Typically a comfortable work load and reasonable expectations from managers. At times there are tight deadlines to meet, but employees are trusted to handle their work load somewhat independently, with weekly meetings to check in.

Inconvénients

Company has gone downhill in recent years. Employees recently had 401K matches taken away (and were notified in a bizarrely casual fashion). No more Holiday bonuses. Office was moved from heart of Elmwood Village to West Seneca. Many people have been laid off and many more have been transferred to less desirable positions. They are cutting down on a lot of the creative work being done in house, instead freelancing out a lot of work so they can save money. They don't seem to care about the quality of the work as much as they should. They do not appreciate their current employees.
