Inconvénients

Since the acquisition of Rootstock by Gryphon investors the wheels have come off the wagon. This was a company that used to make decisions based on data. They now make decisions based on board dictates because they are so 'smart'. Strategic missteps put into play by board related to targeting prospects resulted in very few closed deals, the inability to effectively implement the product is causing stalled implementations and challenges in supporting installed customers has resulted in plummeting renewal rates. Internally moral is at rock bottom, budgets have been cut and expectations have been raised (do more with less), marketing management is forcing substandard tools on the team (due to conflicts of interest) and then holding others responsible when the inevitable failure occurs (over 50% of the marketing team was laid off on Oct 2, 2024 and other departments were hit hard as well).

Avantages

Salesforce Platform was a solid "rootstock" to build an ERP

Inconvénients

Outsourced development without proper oversight resulted in a platform that was difficult to enhance.
