Avantages
The “pros” of working at Rivian begins with the relationships formed. I was at Rivian for over two years and truly met the finest people I have ever worked with in over 20 years of manufacturing. For the most part it is a collaborative effort with all parts of the company working together towards very high goals. The Compass Values are truly something that will remain with me for the rest of my life. The opportunities for growth are very high. Some Team Members are now Team Leaders and Group Leaders, Group Leaders are now Managers, and Managers are now Sr. Managers. The products are incredible and there is a high sense of pride every time I see one on the road today. It is a team effort that when you get in a bind, you can often count on others to assist.
Inconvénients
It’s intense. The expectations are high, as they should be for a company trying to revolutionize the automotive industry. It’s frustrating. Multiple challenges with suppliers keeping up, internal departments making enough, equipment issues, training a new workforce (including leaders), long hours, new policies, and inconsistent work schedules. There are times when the support you need is at another Rivian location or working remote and that can be incredibly difficult to navigate.
