Workplace feels like a prison. Google the Brooklyn Army Terminal. The building itself looks like a prison. No metal allowed. No cell phones allowed. Some supervisors even count how many times you go to the bathroom. Don't dare be a minute over 30 minutes for lunch break !
Bad management. Owner, VP, supervisors. Really could use some management classes.
Owner is stubborn, seems insane at times, has a big ego and doesn't listen to employees feedback.
No air conditioning 2 summers in a row !
No raises in salary and low initial salary offers. I didn't meet one person there who felt they were paid going rate. Long time workers complained about never getting raises.
Revolving door here. 75% of employees are new. Most people here don't last more than 6 months.
Your job description can be changed at any time. Usually for the worst. Demotions are common.
