Avantages

Working at Ritual has been a breath of fresh air. It's invigorating to look forward to coming into work everyday and enjoy what I'm working on alongside a group of amazingly talented & encouraging people. I'm genuinely proud of working here. I've become "that friend" who loves their job which I've come to realize is a rarity. Empathy and passion run deep in this company, which are two values I personally hold dear. Ritual is unlike any place I've worked in the past, for all the right reasons, so I see myself here for the long haul. We have some amazing leaders at the helm, but it's nice to feel autonomous and like I'm making an impact in the work I do, all the while working for a brand I truly believe in. Our future is looking bright and I feel really lucky to be a part of it.

Inconvénients

Honestly nothing much from where I stand. We're a quickly growing startup which comes with a need for patience and flexibility, but I think we're growing in a really smart way, so I see the longterm vision.

Avantages

I've never been happier in a role. Supportive environment, great leadership, collaborative team members. Great benefits and transparency into what's going on at the company.

Inconvénients

If you're remote, may feel harder for you to get to know LA colleagues, but everyone is super inclusive and there are lots of opportunities to get to meet people in person!

Avantages

- Wonderful remote-first culture that offers flexibility. Taking last-minute time off for 'life' stuff or needing to step away from your desk for an hour or 2 is not an issue - The PRODUCTS! They work. And they're great.

Inconvénients

Growth here feels next to impossible, and the favoritism is hard to ignore. Since I started, someone who was hired around the same time as me has been reactively promoted three times only because people above them left. For the rest of us, getting promoted feels like yelling into a void. You can advocate for yourself all you want but promotions are gatekept by VPs. If they don't know or like you, good luck. VP leadership is not great. They’re overly involved to the point of micromanaging, yet somehow still completely out of touch. Feedback is vague (if it comes at all), so when review season rolls around, any “constructive” criticism is usually a surprise. They’re always hovering, but never actually available and definitely not approachable.
