Avantages

Remote work has been a nice perk and the pace is relaxed. Pretty easy to get work done in 20-30 hours per week. Because of all the management changes in the last year, there isn't really a marketing strategy to map to so we just get the work done as requests come in... might be a con to some people, but trust me it's a positive! If you're early in your career and want exposure to ecommerce plumbing competes with Amazon and the other leaders, you can learn it. if you like blogging, you'd love it it here. If you're looking to drive change and have a big impact, Rithum might not be the best fit.

Inconvénients

Marketing has seen more changes than the rest of the organization, which is not a surprise considering the market conditions and the private equity ownership. We have new leaders and they're OK, but it's been a year since most of the changes were made and the marketing plan is a few tradeshows, a few wbinars and making sure the blog has weekly posts (thanks ChatGPT!). Still waiting for product innovation between the three platforms. Company culture plummeted in 2024 with all the changes, but that doesn't mean it's all bad! Most of us are in glide mode waiting and seeing for what happens next.

Avantages

CS org combined with Renewals some time ago. Since then, the Customer Success leadership has put the team in a great position to succeed. Providing solid tools and direction, using metric-based approaches and not aimless goals (like having to hit a generic 'calls made' goal)

Inconvénients

Upward movement career-wise can be a challenge

Avantages

The company has talented employees and some strong legacy teams. There are opportunities to learn quickly, especially in ecommerce and retail media, and many coworkers are collaborative and supportive despite ongoing challenges.

Inconvénients

The culture has significantly declined under newer leadership. There is a growing disconnect between executive expectations and the realities of team workloads, resulting in burnout, high turnover, and low morale. Employees are often expected to absorb additional responsibilities without meaningful support, compensation adjustments, or clear direction.
