Avantages
Retech offers a wide range of furnace products such as Plasma, electron beam, vacuum induction, vacuum arc remelting, and atomization. There is always something to learn as these systems are very complex. In my position I get to see a project all the way from estimating/proposals through site acceptance. I work and communicate with all departments in the company, along with being the main point of contact for our customers throughout execution of projects. Retech is always looking for ways to expand their portfolio, whether that is increasing manufacturing capacity, offering toll melting, or looking at business acquisitions. Customers are always looking to push the boundaries in this industry and Retech Systems is the go to company for providing fully customized furnace systems. This can be very challenging at times, but at the end, very rewarding when the customer is happy with the performance of the systems.
Inconvénients
At times there is much more project work than Retech has capacity and makes meeting deliverables more difficult. Retech moved to the Buffalo area a few years back and lost some valued engineering and manufacturing experience. With the right hires, Retech will get back to the high level of seamless operations.
