Not a lot of connection made between day-to-day work with high-level strategic goals. Often spending time putting out fires instead of investing in future.

I started with the team during a large growth phase. Being a startup, there was a lot of growing pains and issues with the company. However, they were very quick to adapt and tackle problems without being caught in the thick of things. The work environment and culture at the company was very light and easy going. The management staff also worked hard to give us what we needed and support us.

I had several issues with the company that can be boiled down to proper planning and execution. Minimal planning is done for remote field ops. This caused some shortcomings with work in the field.
