Colleagues are great! Lead techs are awesome! You really bond with everyone and come together to get things done in your department. The radiologists are fantastic! I wish Dr. Hill was more involved in management she really knows a persons worth when it comes to the group, community, and diagnostics..
Inconvénients
MANAGEMENT. Management is all about quotas and run patients through like an assembly line to keep the money flowing into their pockets while not giving proper wages or incentives to advance. WHAT TO EXPECT: busy busy days, you'll come in to an already fully booked day (most of the times over booked thanks to schedulers who have no idea how long you actually require for an exam), then you're expected to fit in walk-ins, urgent care patients, and stats from Doctors offices... if they make it through the door before closing time you are required to see them even if it means staying late or missing your lunch ( but they make sure you sign a wavier for your missed lunch so you can't claim OT for it.) If you get a certification/registry/credential don't expect to get adequate compensation ( MAYBE $1 more per hr if you're lucky) They will try to low ball you especially the female "Director of Operations."
