Avantages
Coming from the real estate sales industry, I was used to a "flexible" schedule. This often means you're free to take time off, but end up working mainly on evenings and weekends to show homes and submit offers. At Real Producers, you have the same ability to work at your own pace, without the necessity of leaving your family or friends on the weekends. This position was truly created for an entrepreneur, as the beginnings of this platform was built in that spirit. Also, differing from other commission based sales careers, RP allows for the comfort of long term contracts with no limits to your financial success. The culture of RP is ever-changing, but maintains an encouraging and creative. yet competitive environment. This role can also greatly impact your community involvement and reputation.
Inconvénients
For some, not having the ability to surround yourself physically with others in the same Area Director position can be taxing. While RP Area Directors and management are very tight knit and offer tons of training/mentorship/collaboration, you will need to be prepared to self-motivate. It can easily feel as if you are "on an island", unless you actively participate in the goings-on of the RP group and within your particular community. You get back what you put in.
