Avantages
Some (not all) co-workers are smart and quite knowledgeable. You may get on-bench time to focus on your learning.
Inconvénients
Since you have to be visible to get promoted people tend to show-off a lot, and this is annoying for someone who doesn't like to be so. A lot of the projects are not interesting in terms of technology, which brings the company down to a body-shop level.
