Inconvénients
It’s been over a year since the new CEO started and it feels like like the only thing growing is the politics and the false narratives. There’s been an exodus / forced purge of the few people who were finally driving change whilst most of the old guard remains. It's an organisation unwilling to adopt a performance mindset. The People & Culture team over the past 6+ years has been a toxic operation within RHC and seems incapable of driving real culture change and hence rely on deflecting accountability and attributing blame. Everyone in Ramsay is aware that the People team leadership, especially at the very top, operates on intimidation to ensure they cannot be questioned. Blind loyalty and political alliances drive career progression and even survival. Under the current Group Chief People officer, nothing seems to have been done about culture or succession planning - core HR accountabilities. All recent senior appointments have come from outside of Ramsay showing how little bench strength was cultivated or succession planned. Everyone who resisted change has been retained while many who positively challenge the status quo are scapegoated and let go.
