Avantages
Nice facilities in the new Tokyo office, nice location, nice environment. Ambitious company, maybe one of the most advanced tech companies in Japan while keeping some Japanese traditions. CEO is on a mission to change Japan, taking a macro view of the company and the world economy at large, good communication with staff. Interesting work, not afraid of big changes. Nice colleagues, young, reasonably international. English is company language. Nice, fresh, free, healthy food offered.
Inconvénients
International company expansion still patchy. Brand name not yet widely known outside Japan. Work environment may be too structured for people who prefer a Silicon Valley laissez faire kindergarten atmosphere. Work and atmosphere very much depend on particular department.
