Inconvénients

-Expectations and priorities can shift without clear communication or alignment -Feedback is often reactive rather than proactive -Limited guidance or training on nuanced compliance and approval processes -Decisions can feel subjective, with accountability applied inconsistently -Additionally, the timing of leadership decisions felt discouraging. Shortly after my termination, the role was refilled externally, which gave the impression that my removal was less about performance development and more about replacement. That experience left me feeling undervalued despite consistently demonstrating initiative, responsiveness to feedback, and a willingness to course-correct when expectations were clarified.

Avantages

The company is very big on promoting from within and actively encourages internal growth. There is a wealth of information available through the various courses they offer, which allows you to gain a significant amount of industry knowledge if you are self-motivated.

Inconvénients

While the resources are there, the culture is very much "figure it out on your own." Leadership often points you toward the Knowledge Network rather than providing actual hands-on guidance or support. Additionally, there is a lack of transparency with clients; it often feels like you are "co-managing" rather than truly managing the asset because so much is withheld from the owners. It is also extremely difficult to move underperforming staff out, which creates a drag on the rest of the team.
