Avantages
The company culture is very supportive and anti-gatekeeping. My coworkers care about me both as an individual and as a professional. My work is recognized and valued, and the collaborative approach to helping clients suits me. I've worked in other fields where employees were pitted against one another in terms of productivity and although I still exceled, I wasn't happy in that type of work environment. It inadvertently encourages cutting corners and undermining colleagues. RPI allows us to show up at work as our best selves for our coworkers and clients.
Inconvénients
Rapid growth of the company over the last few years has presented some challenges. RPI has struggled in some ways to formalize, scale up, or rethink the things that worked well (or at least sufficiently) for the company when it was smaller, the leadership structure was flatter, and operations could get away with being more organic with little bureaucracy.
