Avantages

Salary on time. 150 year old legacy

Inconvénients

There is a widespread bully culture in Rics. They boast a lot about ethics and standards. Irony is they have no ethics of their own. Senior management bullies junior employees really bad and nobody seems to think of this as a problem. Talent is not valued here. There is rampant favouritism and bias. It is a confused organisation and they don't know where they are headed. No career growth possible here. Don't join it if you are looking for career growth

Thank you for your feedback. We do not tolerate any form of bullying, but can only deal with such issues if we’re aware of them, and encourage our employees to report such matters. Though you have left RICS, I would greatly appreciate further information on your experience here and invite you to please contact me at feedback@rics.org for a confidential discussion. Avantages

Exposure to high level professionals in the property profession, annual professional development course, and good benefits package.

Inconvénients

The local office leadership is lacking in a way that is detrimental to the success of the organization. There's a lack of direction, death by meetings - which usually ends with no further action being taken, the Managing Director's ego is inflated and he has yet to deliver on annual membership acquisition goals, male-centric US office environment, blatant bias, and a lack of transparency. Management is secretive and shady. Outdated software and poor technical support.
