Avantages
This is a challenging role however the Managers and Seniors are approachable, patient and helpful. The RAC are a decent company to work for and I am proud to be apart of this organisation. It is very transparent and no two days are the same. I have even had the MD sit it on a training session and ideas and feedback are taken seriously, There are nice little touches like ice creams, free drinks and raffles every now and then. You get constant feedback and the salary is competitive and there are chances to make bonus. The systems are modern and you are given autonomy to get your job done. It is a professional environment with good facilities. I have recommended two personal friends to work here which is probably the best endorsement I could give the RAC.
Inconvénients
It is a fast paced role and calls can be challenging. You have to keep your cool and you have to follow procedures and be compliant. At the beginning it can feel overwhelming but it does get more manageable as time goes on and you build up familiarity with systems. The hours can be unsociable and you will have to work late/weekends/bank holidays however this is the nature of the business but beware of this if considering working here.
