Avantages
This was my first embedded software engineering job out of college, I have since moved onto other companies/studios in Southern California but looking back, it was a great experience. Not only did I learn much while at ProSoft; the people and teams I worked with I'll remember for the rest of my life. Some of the pros were: 1. Great people (as just mentioned). 2. Decent compensation / insurance. 3. Ability to move up and improve / grow. 4. The company is fairly family-oriented. 5. The ability to travel was a great plus.
Inconvénients
There were a few cons, but not many: 1. Innovation. During my time there, I believe we could have innovated more, but that's tough to do with some older industries. 2. Expectations. Some expectations out of the engineers was a little unrealistic, but they did listen.
