Avantages

Overall good Sales Team from what I gathered. No issues with accounting/finance/investments team. CEO & CFO seemed to have a good grasp from a quantitative perspective. Quarterly in-person events were a somewhat decent attempt to establish some type of team camaraderie; However, really nothing was accomplished (shocking), and the same team building exercises and corporate buzz word chatter, was regurgitated.

Inconvénients

Every step of the project lifecycle involved 5+ people doing the jobs of 1-2 people. Fake word hard atmosphere, where every action item just circled due to the classic 'too many chefs in the kitchen' scenario. Unqualified upper management in the Denver office definitely attributed to all of this. Too much micromanagement for a whole-sale power provider business model [design the data center space, sell the data center space, build the data center space, operate the data center.. not rocket science]. Poor investor backing structure and minimal cashflow, puts contractor operations in a very tough position time after time.

Avantages

Strong leadership that supports you and lets you grow. Clear structure and solid communication across teams. High level projects that challenge you in a good way. Good people who care about doing quality work. You feel trusted to make decisions and drive results.

Inconvénients

Fast paced environment so you need to adapt quickly. Some processes are still improving as the company grows. Workload can spike depending on data hall schedules.

Avantages

A few good people. And they let your dog come to work.

Inconvénients

Prime is an embodiment of mediocrity wrapped in antiquated policies. From the moment you step into their offices, you're greeted with a culture that feels like a relic from a bygone era. The work environment here is anything but inspiring. Open workspaces are cramped and zero privacy, morale is low, and creativity seems stifled by the heavy weight of outdated protocols. It's as if time stopped and the company has failed to catch up with the evolving needs of its employees and the market alike. One of the most glaring issues at Prime is its complete disregard for work-life balance. Employees are expected to join after-hours events as if they have no personal lives outside of work. This expectation creates a toxic environment where burnout is not only common but practically inevitable. The company's leadership seems oblivious to the fact that the world has moved on from the days of sacrificing personal time for the sake of the job. Flexible work arrangements and remote options are treated like foreign concepts, instead of the standard practices they've become in modern workplaces. Moreover, the lack of diversity and inclusion initiatives is disappointing, reflecting an unwillingness to adapt to the changing demographics of the workforce. It's evident that Prime is not just behind the times but actively resistant to progress. Prime may have once been a player in its industry, but it's now a shadow of its former self. Its mediocre performance, antiquated policies, toxic culture, and disregard for work-life balance make it a company that's best avoided by anyone seeking a fulfilling and modern work experience.
