Avantages
The HQ office location is fantastic and has a casual work environment. I ran in to minimal office politics while working at PowerObjects. Most employees are passionate, friendly, and intelligent. You will not go hungry working at PowerObjects if you enjoy eating leftover LeeAnn Chin. Their "fanatical focus" on CRM is ideal for those who wish to only work on CRM. Internal training is quite extensive for new hires and continuing education for existing employees.
Inconvénients
Members of upper management lack the professionalism to be taken seriously at times. PowerObjects does not provide career path guidance. Certain members of upper management are unfit to manage a team and client projects simultaneously and unnecessarily spread themselves too thin. Poor communication and lack of direction from management contribute heavily to low morale and frustration. Critical feedback from management is lacking. No exit interview to address concerns. The majority of technical work is done offshore and outsourced to Pakistan. With the recent acquisition by HCL morale is lower due to a renewed focus on offshoring work to India and other acquisition-related uncertainties.
