Avantages

Good salary, benefits. The products I sold helped improve patient outcomes and lives.

Inconvénients

You may not get to enjoy the good salary and benefits for long unless you are upper, upper management. The middle and lower part of the totem pole are laid off yearly due to a very broken company, regarding product development fails and new product launch fails and FDA recalls. The aforementioned have impacted business negatively and the revenue is down two years in a row. So that means the folks making the mistakes and bad calls in upper management keep their jobs, and the revenue producers and support employees get laid off without thought. The hospitals consider Philips Healthcare very difficult to do business with.

Avantages

- Easy commute if you live north of Seattle/Bellevue - Decent cafeteria - Decent compensation

Inconvénients

- The level of apathy amongst colleagues is off the charts. Many people are simply coasting and collecting a paycheck. When you try to be a team player and pick up the slack, you simply become a target for blame. - Due to the extremely lax "return to office" policy, the office often feels quite empty when there is plenty of work to be done. Being onsite M-F often leads to more work with little support. - There is a culture of public shaming, with several meetings every week dedicated to project leads targeting individuals to make up for their own lack of technical understanding.
