Avantages

Flexible hybrid policy makes work life balance very attainable. Health benefits are great and low cost for employees and dependents. PTO accrual is also substantial.

Inconvénients

Having spent nearly a decade at this company, I’ve seen a shift in leadership and its effect on its company culture. First sign of trouble came right after a change in CEO which was then followed by a significant amount of senior leadership resigning in the next 12 months. The last few years has seen an influx of new leaders who hire their friends, fail to take accountability, make decisions without proper context and fail to communicate the overall vision of their decisions. Layoffs were announced in 2026 which torched employee trust, added more work to remaining staff leading to burnout, and overall the company outlook has never looked worse among those who remain. In addition, HR seems to be on the hunt for reasons to fire employees for cause which is super concerning and seems just plain vindictive. The company I was once proud to work for, seemingly cared about its employees, members and the regions it serviced seems like it’s now gone.

Avantages

PacificSource genuinely cares for their employees and offers full time remote working opportunities, which Boomers have taken away everywhere else.

Inconvénients

I think about quitting at least once a week because the employees here are soul-sucking. Entitled and out of touch. Might be the healthcare industry, but employees here doesn’t seem to understand the concept of smart business and our viability in the market if we don’t shape up.

Avantages

Coworkers who support each other, care about the business, and work from home.

Inconvénients

The path of destruction and mismanagement that’s at the executive level is astonishing. None of them appeared to know anything about how the work is being done and no one seems to have a clue about what updates and changes are happening, let alone how to proceed with changes since they have no clue about the steps within the work, which leads to a ton of confusion across teams. Asking questions and seeking conversation within this “open door” company is risky and labels you as “resistant”. It’s common and is keeping the people who are doing the work from participating in conversation because of fear of being retaliated against or of being viewed negatively.
