PTC is where innovative companies go to die. Most of the innovation comes through acquisition. Eventually, the new cow becomes the old cow and key people leave or are asked to leave. The technology becomes un-maintainable. Internal projects get canceled after many months of investment (not the fail fast mentality practiced by Agile).
