Avantages
The people are good. Pay is higher for Croatia. The office is great. Work from home is ok. Work/Balance is great for some people. The product is good. The founders are very intelligent and good people.
Inconvénients
Every little decision is micromanaged. 3 founders make it hard to know who is in charge. One of the founders has zero self-awareness, or if he is aware, he feels entitled to his actions which often alienate and stifle those around him including the other 2 founders who are much better able to deal with people. The office is split in 2 and the two sets of employees barely interact. Founders, Engineers, Marketing and the office manager are downstairs and salespeople upstairs. If you get hired for the sales team you'll barely be a part of the company. They tell you when you interview they are a US startup but don't expect any equity, free lunches, or perks. Also, I've heard the sales team doesn't even get a commission. There's a feeling of zero momentum and none of the autonomy and ability to work on projects outside your designated tasks. There is not much opportunity at all to contribute ideas or to make improvements. There is no room to grow and not a single 1:1 will ever take place with your manager. Of course, it's not even clear who the manager is. If you're looking for a paycheck and don't care about contributing or personal growth this is a great place to work.
