Avantages
Working at OperationsInc is great for anyone who needs flexibility and worklife balance, while still wanting challenging meaningful HR work. The people there are generally really great and the owner treats his employees extemely well, offering lots of social activities and nice little perks and presents during the holidays.
Inconvénients
As a consultant, they can sometimes throw you into an assignment that you have no expereince with, so to be successful you need to be someone who is resourceful, and really quick to figure things out on your own. You need to track and bill for all of your hours, and the culture is very much "time is money". which I believe is why managers there can be impatient and really brief with employees who have questions or need more guidance (especially when you have just been handed an assignment that you have no experience with). Also the pay is lower (for the level of work you are doing) than what you could make elsewhere. Lastly, it is really difficult to get them to support professional development, since that is not time the company can bill to a client.
