Inconvénients
Low salaries, no real benefits, high requirement of shift availability, almost non-existent training, lack of communication, zero constructive feedback and no support for the mission of surgical staff. This causes staff to work unsafely, for little pay, often leading to cutting corners on federally regulated guidelines for procurement, driving long distances without adequate sleep, having little to no support/understanding from line supervisors, trainers or management. Within the past 6 months or so, around 40% of the surgical staff has left the company in search of better opportunities. Morale is extremely low and getting worse all the time. This problem is ignored by management, demonstrated by the constant stream of new hires, blindly thrown to the wolves until they burn out and quit just months later, to be replaced by the next victim.
