Avantages
I worked with some of the most wonderful, loving, understanding, hard-working people I ever met. However, none of these great people were part of management.
Inconvénients
Management, at every level, was horrible, e.g., dehumanizing; rude; complete absence of empathy (regardless of the situation) - low emotional intelligence adds up to total toxicity; micromanaging; no concern for work-life balance; poor ineffective communication; demanding authority and respect; unapproachable; playing favorites; targeting people for blame in an all-around blame culture; frequent anger management issues and never apologizing for unwarranted vitriolic outbursts, temper tantrums, and rants directed at employees; consistently overworking employees, then penalizing them for uncompleted work; downright hatred for some employees for no obvious reason. I could go on, but this will give you an idea of what it was like.
