Originally: Great 401k, Annual Profit Sharing bonus, Annual review w/ pay increase, Paid certification exams (pass or fail).... Now: Great 401K (None of the remaining perks exist)
Inconvénients
Lack of established culture in the company. A small company can only "find its legs" for so long. What started out as great engineering firm with tons of promise, turned into a place to work until something better came along. There is an atmosphere of secrecy and paranoia that exists in this company, that is evident by the non-compete agreements and training reimbursement policies that are in effect. A few examples: Exam certifications are expected as part of your job, however PTO must be taken for the hours missed while taking the exam. Work extra hours on Monday, but PTO is required if you need to leave early on Tuesday, etc.. Again...what started out with alot of promise, end up with alot of disappointment
