      Avantages

      Relaxed and laid back work atmosphere, beautiful building, good people who know the business, excellent insurance benefits (much better than the industry standard)

      Inconvénients

      Navigator has been on a consistent downward trend for the last two years. New corporate "executives" from outside the company have everyone on edge with fear for their jobs. Poor decisions at the executive level have led to a loss of contracts, causing the company to be less competitive when entering the proposal stage. There are at least a handful of "no work" jobs that are over compensated and provide no benefit to the company.

      Avantages

      NDGI is a small to medium size company that offers support services to DOD. The size of the company and contracts are what make NDGI so remarkably efficient in offering employees all the support necessary to be productive. Their Management and Program Managers are all extremely qualified, with a proven track record of caring for the quality of life for their employees while ensuring customer satisfaction. It is by far the best and most competent company I have work for in over 25 years of working Gov support contracts.

      Inconvénients

      Where the upside is that you are an employee and not just an employee number with NDGI, is that you can't hide in a vast matrix of staff. So if you don't want to work, be productive, or be acknowledged then any small to medium size company won't be a fit for you. I however don't consider that to be a con. Rather it is just a recognition that good work and a high standard of performance is expected from all their team members.
