- The atmosphere with colleagues is great. They are kind, supportive and encouraging. - We have a flat hierarchy. The CEO and leaders treat us on an equal footing. A lot of times I can bring in new ideas and lead new projects. - Space to improve your skills and learn new skills super fast. In this startup I learned more in 1 year than in 7 years of my studies. - We really try to be at the pulse of time switching our tools to the latest, best innovative and most User friendly. - Finding ways to automize recurring annoying stuff, to reduce manual repetitive work

- If your new, working in a startup indeed can cause pressure, as there's always something to do. However we all encourage each other to take time to rest and get the right balance. - You need to be flexible with your time and skills as we could always change the way how we do stuff. Also we like to experiment to gather new knowledge.

They supported me very good with relocation, but…

They laid me off without „any“ prior notice pr even indirect signs. I repeatedly received positive feedback from my direct manager, and one day the CEO told me I‘m fired, even though I didn’t directly report to him. When I asked why, they told me it’s not regarding my performance but it’s about the company, that’s why they couldn’t notice me sooner. I‘d say that can happen in startup environments for fragile companies, but if you’re in such unpredictable stage, you should be at least proactive in your communications and let people know what they should expect - not giving them positive feedback in the face and deciding to fire them behind the curtains. That caused many problems for me personally, mentally, and professionally, and the reason I‘m writing this is that I hope they never do such thing again.
