Avantages

- compressed week means long weekends to plan events or just relax - decent pay, especially if you don't mind working nights to get that shift differential - relatively easy work even though the actual manufacturing process is complicated, working and learning the tools is not very hard, especially after the first one - any overtime is completely optional. I've never been called on my day off except for things like hr needing paperwork for fmla, and was only asked a couple times if I wanted to stay late, but it was walked back very hard before I could even respond, and they were completely understanding when I said no. - relatively flexible break schedules - pretty decent amount of pto + pa + sick time for an entry level job

Inconvénients

- when business is down, so is culture - when business is down, expect as many as 4 weeks off a quarter - when business is down, don't expect any raises or bonuses, including cost of living adjustments - they talk about how they never do layoffs, but then don't call it a layoff when they "adjust the headcount" of a newly acquired company - when business is down, they also still do "normal" layoffs - business is currently extremely down

Avantages

There are a handful of people here who are fantastic to work with, are very knowledgeable, and care about the product that's going out the door.

Inconvénients

Leadership is fundamentally out of touch and appears indifferent to employee well-being. The culture is marred by nepotism and a lack of accountability, where 'guiding values' are preached but never practiced. Feedback is discouraged, and those who speak up are often targeted. Expect a 'reward' of more work for the same pay, as promotions are rare and promised bonuses are frequently withheld despite strong site performance. A very frustrating and toxic environment for those who value merit and transparency.
