Avantages
MCHP Offers a very good work life balance coupled with job stability. For the Indian scenario, they pay more than many of the embedded service sector companies. Layoffs are few /none across most of the BUs. They also project an Excellent track record in terms of revenue generated each year. You get RSU's and other stock options while in service.
Inconvénients
The type of work you do can vary from 'bad' to 'okay'. You see very less innovative work going on. If you aspire more, Mchp can't offer you much. New products come in via acquisition. Pay scale is slightly on the lower side when comparing with other semiconductor giants.
