Avantages

stable, profitable semiconductor company with a broad product base in digital and analog chips.

Inconvénients

Pays below market rates across the board. Less innovative in many ways - often buy a company, improve its operations and "milk" it, then do it over again. They trap acquired company employees with much lower base-pay and don't make up for the difference except through bonuses. Bonuses only get you back to what you were making before the aquisition - their bonus plan is in no way an incentive.

Avantages

There are a handful of people here who are fantastic to work with, are very knowledgeable, and care about the product that's going out the door.

Inconvénients

Leadership is fundamentally out of touch and appears indifferent to employee well-being. The culture is marred by nepotism and a lack of accountability, where 'guiding values' are preached but never practiced. Feedback is discouraged, and those who speak up are often targeted. Expect a 'reward' of more work for the same pay, as promotions are rare and promised bonuses are frequently withheld despite strong site performance. A very frustrating and toxic environment for those who value merit and transparency.
