- Very low glass ceiling - Performance is only rewarded with additional responsibilities - not extra pay and promotion - Sales Engineering Management is a complete and utter joke. - People who rise up through the ranks internally are often royally screwed, as their payrate is nowhere close to those with similar titles/responsibilities who come in from the outside - Ventures into areas with questionable short or long term financial return *cough* *social media* *cough* eat up expenses to the point where many people had to be laid off
