Avantages
No dress code- people literally wear pajamas sometimes or worse. No real attendance policy- unless they are looking for a reason to let you go or they don't like you. Also, if you have a criminal record or chain smoke- you're golden.
Inconvénients
Where to begin? The office is in a basement with NO circulation and carpeting that's probably 40 years old. Mold, mildew, and your common cold are deadly here. Bring a mask and some bleach (which you may want to drink after about an hour here). You'll deal with more characters working at this establishment than Walt Disney could've ever imagined. Seriously, this is the place where dreams go to die. Most employees are there out of desperation i.e.: drug problems and criminal records with nowhere else that will employ them. Not to say there aren't a few wonderful people there; they just don't belong there. If you don't fall into that category and have reasonable expectations of an employer, run. There is NO job security. There is a definite and obvious gender gap in pay and fair treatment. Expect the unexpected and unacceptable. Pay is terrible and hardly ever accurate. You're paid bi-monthly inside, but they will not pay you early if it falls on a weekend/holiday (which btw is illegal). Not to mention money you just NEVER see. If you do go down the rabbit hole here, be very maticulous when tracking your own hours and pay. Sadly, even then you still may not be paid correctly or in full. You're constantly moved, lied to, and manipulated to the point of a near mental breakdown. I'm short: If I had to chose between eating fried dog crap and working here again, I'd chose the former.
