Avantages
Meadow Ridge offers flexible shifts and a nice christmas bonus. Managers are very easy to work with. Servers can't take food home but can eat your meals after service in the staff room. The free food is definitely a huge part of working at MR. Experience in working with the elderly and fine dining looks great on a resume. Residents can be very pleasant to serve sometimes. Meadow Ridge is great to work at in the short term because of how flexible shifts are.
Inconvénients
There are no tips. In contrast to most fine dining establishments Meadow Ridge is underpaying it's servers. In other fine dining restaurants servers tend to make at the very least $14 an hour. There is little to no mobility. Some servers can go 5 years and only have there pay brought up 9 cents to $10.09. There is little to no mobility. Servers stay in their position unless they work for 8+ years. During orientation upper management claims that after 90 days there is a review of how Servers are doing and servers are given an appropriate raise. Most have yet to have seen review.
