Avantages

I had an excellent experience working in Mayasoft. I was working there for 4 years; I started as Software Engineer, and I had many opportunities to grow to finally became a Project Manager of an International Project. I improved my English skills and I always felt supported and heard by high management, my ideas were evaluated, and some of them implemented. The work environment is amazing, I found there the best teammates I could wish for. - Extraordinary work environment - Amazing teammates - Frequent funny activities (Yoga, Zumba, Bingo) - 100% Remote work - Flexible schedules - Opportunities to practice your English and working with native speakers - Gifts on special dates - Work / Life Balance - Long term contract - Salary rates have improved a lot during the last two years

Inconvénients

- Could be good having a training path depending on the employee's skills, but more than that I cannot find any cons

Avantages

- Great and collaborative teammates. - Flexible Schedules - 100% remote work - Gifts on special dates. - Nice work environment. They're trying to encourage people to get certifications and training.

Inconvénients

The company is divided in two main groups: ~ International Projects Team (higher salaries, less workload, better organization [agile methodologies] and workload distribution, less stress and English communication) ~ Local Projects Team ( unbalanced workload due to lack of organization, high-pressure deadlines, horrible work-life balance, lower salaries, less benefits) So, you're unlucky if you end up in the latter. - Lower salaries compared to similar companies. - 9 Hours of work per day. - If you work in the second group you likely be working more hours per day. It is even possible that you have to work on several projects at time (which is insane). Most of my teammates have left the company because of burnout. - There's a lot of rotation, you can guess why ... - When someone leaves the Company they take too much time to hire new people, and in worst cases they don't hire anyone. So this translates into higher workload to remaining employees.
